Elaine Silbereis has extensive training as a concert artist and 25 years experience as a teacher. A native of Pasadena, California, she has the following educational and professional qualifications.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Music in Piano Performance, La Sierra University, Riverside, CA
• Master of Music Degree in Organ Performance (with full scholarship), University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music
• Studies in piano pedagogy at Royal School of Music
• Extensive summer study at the Aspen Music Festival and School
• Training with Katinka Daniel in the Kodaly Method of music education
• Keyboard teachers include: Anita Olsen, Earl Voorhies, Edith Oppens, Robert Glasgow, Roberta Gary

Professional Experience includes:

• Piano Instructor, La Sierra University, Riverside, CA
• Extensive experience as a classroom music teacher, using the Kodaly Method
